Beth Levin Bio Beth Levin Publications Born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1951, Beth Levin has worked in a variety of materials over 30 years. Her early academic studies in visual arts at Algonquin College in Ottawa centred on fine metals and clay. She also worked with leather for many years. In 1981 Beth took a break to raise her daughter and son, but was seduced back into the arts when she took a workshop in Japanese hand papermaking. For the next few years she took numerous courses in papermaking at the Ottawa School of Art. Now, well established in her studio, Beth’s approach to her art is experimental; she is always moving in new directions. Beth has a small gallery beside her rural home and studio in Greely, Ontario. Her work can also be found at The Carlen Gallery 1171 Bank Street in Ottawa.
